Latitude 55 Canadian Whisky Batch #3 is an ambitious blend of five carefully selected 3-year-old wheat whiskies. Aged predominantly in ex-Kakwa Rum barrels, Batch #3 is a true expression of Latitude 55’s distilling character, combining flavours from two of our most admired spirits to create a distinct achievement in Canadian whisky. 40% ABV. SERVED NEAT APPEARANCE: Light gold. NOSE: Wood, caramel, vanilla custard, and butterscotch pudding dominate with lighter aromas of gingerbread and dried fruit. PALATE: Soft and sweet with the rum barrels imparting layers of molasses, chocolate, toffee, leather, and cigar tobacco. A slight acidity on the back end with bursts of grape and plum. FINISH: Short, dry, and light with whispers of spice and apricot. SERVED WITH A FEW DROPS OF WATER Longer finish with warm baking spices and rich tannins.
